Thanks for your interest in our Lion Rehabilitation Project in collaboration with ALERT. All the Lion Project Expeditions we lead directly support the research and rehabilitation infrastructure required to help protect these endangered species. Your participation helps fund this infrastructure so we thank all of you who have or will be participating.
The goal of the Man Expeditions & ALERT Lion conservation teams are to raise funds through our "Adopt A Lion" initiative. All funds raised will help us rehabilitate these adopted Lions as part of a pride so that their cubs can be released into the wild during the release phase of the rehabilitation programme. If you wish to sponsor a lion you can do so HERE
When making a sponsorship donation please be sure to leave a comment with your donation naming the lion you wish to sponsor. If you wish to sponsor more than one lion we appreciate your generosity. In exchange for your contribution we would like to personally invite you to come stay with us and meet the lion you have sponsored at our release site. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details on this.
GET INVOLVED... JOIN A LION PROJECT EXPEDITION
Each year between Feb-May we run Lion Rehabilitation trips for Man Expeditions members which directly support the conservation of the African Lion. These trips provide Man Expeditions members a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with Lions in the wild. The funds generated from these trips directly support the infrastructure required to rehabilitate and protect the African Lion from illegal trophy hunting and poaching. JOIN US IN THE ANNUAL "LEAP TO SAVE A LION " INITIATIVE
Join us in South Africa in March each year as we invite all Man Expeditions members to participate in a group paraglide off Lions Head to raise awareness for the African Lion as part of the "Leap To Save A Lion" initiative. The footage from this jump will be used for a sponsored global PR and social media campaign to help drive donations for the protection of the African Lion against illegal trophy hunters and poachers.
