How to Enter:
Donate any amount. If you have donated the highest amount by the time the funding goal is reached you will win. Donations are not refundable should you not win and anyone who donates more than $500 will be issued with a $1,000 credit voucher to use on any Man Expeditions trip (valid for 2 years expiring on August 1, 2021). This credit voucher can not be combined with any other contest or promotion.
At Man Expeditions, we believe fundraising should be about impact, not percentages. Our model allows us, in partnership with Charities and Nonprofits, to really make a difference and disrupt the way society traditionally thinks about charitable giving.
Here’s how it works: Man Expeditions and various Nonprofits work together to offer incredible prizes and experiences that anyone can potentially win. To enter you will need to make a donation of any amount. Your donation is then used to fund a great cause, which we love. Man Expeditions pays for everything that’s needed to run the contest, which means the only ones taking a chance are the entrants (you!)—not the charity/Nonprofit. The Nonprofit can spend less time worrying about raising funds, and instead focus their energy on doing awesome work.
*This means that for the typical campaign, from every dollar you donate, 70 cents is passed directly through to the cause. If there are multiple charities/nonprofits, then grants of equal share are made to each. The remaining 30 cents is used to pay for things like advertising, payment processing and the costs of making the campaign a success—including providing the prize.
The result? Causes get a guaranteed grant with no risk and no overhead or investment, our lucky winners get awesome experiences, and everyone else gets to help a great cause and spread joy!
